Dr. Tony Brown completed both his Master of Public Health (2015) and Doctor of Public Health (2025) degrees at the Arnold School of Public Health, University of South Carolina. He began his graduate studies with a concentration in Epidemiology and later pivoted to specialize in Health Services Policy and Management, where he honed a unique blend of skills in program evaluation, health economics, and health insurance policy.

Throughout his doctoral training, Dr. Brown focused his research on improving health system performance and advancing public health evaluation frameworks. He worked across multiple departments within the Arnold School in various research assistant roles, collaborating with faculty and multidisciplinary teams on grant-funded projects and scholarly publications. His research contributions addressed a wide range of issues including HIV prevention, healthcare access, insurance reform, and equity-focused intervention strategies.

Dr. Brown’s commitment to academic rigor and applied research culminated in multiple peer-reviewed publications, reflecting his ability to bridge methodological expertise with real-world public health impact. His doctoral work emphasized the critical role of evaluation in guiding health policy, program design, and resource allocation. He now brings these skills to his consulting practice and leadership roles in public health.
